| We are great writers! |
1. Get an idea (Mr. C wants us to write friendly letters about second grade)
2. Do some research (We looked in our brains about second grade)
3. Organize thoughts (We made key word outlines, KWOs). We then practiced retells to friends, to be sure what the sentences would be.
4. Rough draft (We took the sentences from our retell and put them down on paper.).
5. Edit and revise (Mr. C did this).
6. Final draft (We wrote so carefully, and sometimes had to start back over, which is ok.).
7. Publish and share (Mr. C mailed them to our friends and family far away, after the envelopes were addressed.).
