The second grade penny drive will continue at school next week, so be sure your second graders bring their coin containers to school on Monday (they need to be decorated: winter, holidays, turtles, etc.).
Finally, one last call for help: this coming Tuesday, the 11th, we will be having a simple machines workshop starting at 12:30. We would love lots of adult help to make it go safely and smoothly. We also need old appliances and gizmos to take apart to see what is inside (you can send them to school with your second grader).
